Founded by Roland and Eileen Lucas in 1973, the Reiland Angus Stud has a rich history rooted in their experience with commercial Angus cattle.
Their early emphasis on New Zealand genetics, including notable imports, has evolved into a legacy of careful genetic selection, expansion, and the blending of American and New Zealand bloodlines, ensuring the stud’s historical and ongoing significance in Angus cattle breeding.
Reiland’s 1000 registered and 500 commercial cows are run under commercial conditions at a high stocking rate with sheep, which certainly identifies elite performers.
No expense has been spared in the development of Reiland’s herd via the careful blending of American and New Zealand bloodlines to ensure on-going farm productivity, constitution and genetic diversity.
