Buyers snap up Reiland genetics to $18,000

Mark Boileau, Bannister Station manager, Goulburn, Daniel Tarlinton, Elders Crookwell, and Sam Lucas, Reiland Angus, with the top price bull, Reiland Melrose M78.
Among the commercial buyers were Jim Mellor, Charles Sturt University, Wagga, and Dick Turnbull, Holbrook. Jim bought three bulls to at top of $7000 while Dick bought three bulls to $8000.
Brian Maher, Elders Wagga, Bruce Angel, Tarcutta and Scott Sillitoe, Tarcutta, were among the buyers at the Reiland spring bull sale. Bruce paid $7000 for Lot 9, Reiland Lowe L479.
Graham and Judy Houston, Houston Pastoral, Burrowye, celebrated the purchase of their 100th bull from the Reiland stud over two decades. They paid $15,000 for this bull, Reiland Maitland M916.
Dougal Kelly, Rugby, and Daniel Tarlinton, Elders Crookwell, inspect the bulls before the Reiland spring bull sale today. Dougal bought three bulls to a top of $11,000 for Riverview Wallah & Co.
