Trade up to young genetics with new for old policy

The record prices for processing type beef are a significant bonus for cattle producers to consider trading out of an old bull into a superior genetic young sire.
Many heavy bull grid quotations exceed $5.00 CWT weight that automatically provide $2,700 – $3,200 towards a young replacement sire.
Principal Mark Lucas said Reiland Angus provides a “new for old” program to assist producers when selling the old bull through an agent, to defer payment on the new bull purchased, until funds are received.
“Essentially it allows bull income money to fund the investment of a new genetically superior sire,” Mr Lucas said.
“It is a very timely opportunity to upgrade your bull battery with buoyant price prospects in an improving season.”
