Elite female sale gives access to 50 years of genetics

Reiland Angus is offering of 35 autumn drop PTIC registered heifers on Friday, December 4 on AuctionPlus.

The heifers comprise core females that will allow purchasers the opportunity to access 50 years of selection based on progressive breeding principles, fertility, soundness and docile temperament.

This group of females is a cross section of heifers AI ed and backed up with a top 1% IMF sire, KO Proceed P79.

A group of these heifers have been retained as replacements. A second group on offer were naturally joined to Reiland Pete P912, an AI/ET Discovery son whilst on agistment with a client who has had a closed herd for 40 years on the NSW Southern Tablelands.

“The run of heifers offered from this group are impressively grown and would easily breed high end, quality Angus with offspring aligned to top 5-10% of the breed,” co-principal Mark Lucas said.

“You can buy confidently, given outstanding structural data these heifers possess. “Reiland Angus registered and commercial herds are joining 1600 females in 2020, assuring the utmost in selection pressure.

“No registered females were sold in 2019 due to the drought, hence the offering this year.”

The calving period is March/early May. Any enquires please contact Mark Lucas 0428693585
