2024 Specially Selected Online Bull Offering / 11th October.

Kick off your AI program with $1000 incentive at Reiland

Reiland Rooster R272 will be among the star lots to be offered at the Reiland Angus spring bull sale on September 3.

Buyers at the Reiland Angus spring bull sale will have the chance to win $1000 towards an artificial breeding program in their herd.

Holbrook Breeders Australia principal and senior veterinarian Dr Stuart Geard is delighted to support the Reiland Angus spring bull sale on Friday, September 3.

The incentive is $1000 for future artificial breeding assistance such as semen collection or AI programming.

The incentive will be split between the buyer of the highest priced bull and the purchaser of a bull lot to be drawn on the day.

Celebrating its 50thanniversary, Reiland Angus has had a long-standing relationship of 36 years with Holbrook Breeders Australia, formerly owned by renowned cattle veterinarian and judge Dr Rick Tindall.

“The positive engagement with artificial breeding allows producers to maximize genetic progress,” Reiland Angus co-principal Mark Lucas said.

“This is especially pertinent given all Reiland bulls have been genomically tested and sire verified.”

Hosted by the Lucas family at Killimicat Station, Tumut, the spring bull sale will feature 70 lots, will be interfaced with AuctionsPlus and get underway at 1.30pm.

The bulls comprise rising two-year-olds and the cream of the autumn 2020 drop.

Mr Lucas has ensured any Northern NSW or Queensland beef producers, who cannot attend the sale, the assisted delivery the stud has provided in the past will be extended to northern cattle producers during this lockdown.

“The ability to view bull videos on AuctionsPlus to assess type, mobility and overall structure combined with any additional enquiry, via agents or the Reiland Team, should provide confidence in decision making when investing in future herd sire genetics,” he said.

Reiland Angus sold the record breaking commercial heifer and calf units recorded in March 2021 to $4800 at the Reiland bloodline feature sale at Gundagai.

The “green light” has been given by NSW Health for buyers to attend the sale under COVID safe guidelines.
